Spine Poetry
A couple of bloggers that I follow have been doing book spine poetry in preparation for April which is National Poetry Month. I had some time this evening and thought I'd try it. It was much more fun than I expected. Here is my poem, called Books.
Books
by Cat's Library
Books,
a pound of paper,
fragile things,
the road to dreams and
the wellspring.
Shelf life,
slipping into paradise,
a place of my own.
A passion for books,
the geography of bliss.
Try it at home with your books. I bet you can find some fun and interesting combinations. And let me know what great poetry you create.

Planned Parenthood book sale is coming soon. Can we try to make it a coffee date?
I like this plan. I'm excited to be a part of it. Are you thinking volunteering or attending?
I'd said that I wasn't going to buy any more books until I'd read through half of my stacks but you know me. We both know that won't stand.
